Supply Chain - Senior Price Cost Analyst (PCA) - Level 3
About The Position
At Lockheed Martin, the Aeronautics Supply Chain team is dedicated to providing innovative, affordable, and agile solutions. This role is responsible for complex supplier proposals, involving the review of proposals, cost and pricing data, and other supplier-submitted information. The analyst will confer with suppliers to understand factors affecting price, prepare reports, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely execution. Additionally, this role involves training company personnel on Price/Cost Analysis practices and negotiation techniques. Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's from an accredited college or university
- Experience in 2 or more of the following fields: Cost Analysis, Negotiations, Statistics / Mathematics, Financial Analysis, Price Analysis, Accounting, Engineering, Procurement / Supply Chain
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel
- Must be a US Citizen
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
Nice To Haves
- Experience with government contracts, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Experience in negotiating FAR 15, TINA proposals
- Experience in cost analysis and evaluation techniques used in assessing supplier proposals
- Experience communicating departmental and program messages to both Lockheed Martin personnel, as well as the customer
- Experience operating in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities
- Review supplier proposals, cost and pricing data submitted and all other factors provided by supplier in support of their proposal.
- Confer with suppliers and analyze supplier operations to determine factors that affect price.
- Prepare reports and charts that present findings.
- Negotiate standard and non-standard contracts with suppliers.
- Maintain communications to ensure timely contract execution by parties.
- Provide final contract negotiation documents that are consistent with agreements reached in negotiations.
- Plan and participate in training of Price/Cost Analysis practices and negotiation techniques to company personnel.
