About The Position

Liquid Personnel is recruiting an experienced Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist for its client’s community-based service based in Enfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work across children's and adult social care services, supporting complex cases while providing leadership and supervision to colleagues.

Requirements

• A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience working with children in a community, health, or social care setting.
• Experience assessing and recommending equipment, adaptations, and moving & handling solutions.
• Previous experience within adult social care services.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, or line managing Occupational Therapists.
• Strong assessment, communication, organisational, and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess children with physical disabilities, including autism.
• Complete assessments for specialist equipment, seating, and home adaptations.
• Undertake moving and handling assessments and Occupational Therapy housing assessments.
• Provide clinical guidance, advice, and support to Occupational Therapy colleagues.
• Line manage two Occupational Therapists working across adult and children's caseloads.
• Manage complex assessments and collaborate with families, carers, and multidisciplinary professionals to achieve positive outcomes.
