About The Position

The Senior Practice Manager will oversee the efficient operation of multiple healthcare practices or sites. The individual will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, fostering a positive work environment, and delivering high-quality care to Medical Group patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, with a focus on optimizing workflow processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare, a related degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience in medical group practice management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical office operational concepts and principles.
  • Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Support and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the overall performance and growth of the healthcare practices.
  • Oversee operations and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Responsible for policy development, revision, communication and training.
  • Manage budgetary planning, financial reporting, and revenue cycle management to achieve financial targets and optimize revenue streams.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, standards, and policies, including HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS guidelines.
  • Participates in the development of quality improvement initiatives to maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction, including monitoring outcomes and implementing corrective measures when indicated.
  • Responsible for the training and supervision of staff members and management, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional development.
  • In partnership with leadership and Human Resources, make decisions or recommendations related to performance management, hiring, transfers, corrective actions, terminations, etc.
  • Resolve staff issues and grievances in a fair, timely and consistent manner, also in partnership with HR.
  • Identify and implement innovative systems to streamline operations, improve patient engagement, and enhance the delivery of healthcare services.
  • Support new technology implementation with Information Technology
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and external stakeholders to promote interdisciplinary teamwork and achieve organizational goals.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients and staff.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, community.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
