The Avionics Power Electronics organization is seeking a Senior Electrical/Power Engineer! Join Our Team! What You Will Do: You will work on Avionics projects, designing and developing power conversion systems, solving some of the more complex projects in aerospace. You will have the opportunity to work on different power conversion systems with various power levels and frequency ranges, DC/DC and AC/DC. What You Will Learn: You will learn from top power supply experts in this industry; they will support you in design reviews and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Experience with various power levels and frequency ranges, DC/DC and AC/DC power conversion designs (topologies, components, control, packaging, etc.).
  • Experience with EMC/EMI, thermal stress, and other environmental issues and their impact on design methodology.
  • Knowledge in Power supply magnetics design.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the above within the aerospace industry is a plus.
  • Experience developing, capturing, and reviewing system level power requirements (MILSTD-704, MIL-STD- 461, and DO-160) or similar from different industries.
  • Planar magnetics design or simulation experience is a plus.
