Senior Portfolio Manager
About The Position
Bank of Marin is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to join their Commercial Banking Office in Rancho Cordova. This role is responsible for leading the middle market underwriting, maintenance, and management of a diverse portfolio of credits. The Senior Portfolio Manager will focus on managing credit risk, providing excellent customer service to retain clients, and identifying opportunities to grow loan and deposit bases. Additionally, this position will involve training and mentoring junior staff. Experience with a Loan Operating System (specifically Sageworks/Abrigo) and actively structuring loans is required.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of accounting, financial accounting, and credit analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Thorough understanding and familiarity of the bank’s loan policies and procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of regulatory and legal issues encountered in the completion and closing of complex personal and commercial loans.
- Experience with a Loan Operating System (specifically Sageworks/Abrigo).
