About The Position

This position is functional analytic role focused on the intersection of foreign influence operations, asymmetric warfare, and political disruption across a shifting global threat landscape. This position is not regionally aligned. It is not a developmental seat, a regional desk seat in disguise, or a position for an analyst seeking to break into the influence portfolio. Requirements

  • Minimum of a B.A. in a relevant field (political science, international affairs, public policy, etc.)
  • Minimum of five (5) years of analytic experience inside the IC—to include a mastery of IC analytic tradecraft standards.
  • Demonstrated functional (not regional) expertise across at least two of the following topical areas: foreign malign influence operations, asymmetric or gray-zone warfare, political subversion and disruption, election interference, or covert action by state proxies.
  • Operate as a self-starter. This role does not include onboarding ramps, mentor pairing, or extended training.
  • TS/SCI Security Clearance Required

Nice To Haves

  • Prior assignments on a counterinfluence, counter-disruption, hybrid threats, or information operations account is useful.
  • Track record of publishing finished intelligence consumed at the senior policymaker or military commander level.
  • AI if applicable to your program

Responsibilities

  • Follow threats across geographies, identify cross-cutting actor tradecraft, and bring functional depth that complements regional teammates rather than duplicating them.
  • Produce written and oral assessments on foreign influence campaigns, asymmetric and gray-zone activity, and adversary efforts to disrupt political processes and institutional cohesion.
  • Track adversary tradecraft, narratives, and infrastructure across multiple actors and theaters, identifying patterns of convergence and innovation.
  • Collaborate as a peer with regional analysts, collectors, targets, and partner-agency counterparts, and represent the team in interagency working groups and briefings.
