Senior Policy Analyst

KFFWashington, DC
$95,000 - $125,000Hybrid

About The Position

KFF is seeking a Senior Policy Analyst to develop and lead research and analysis related to Medicare policy, including Medicare spending and financing, Medicare Advantage, and Medicare Part D and prescription drug policy. Working closely with their direct supervisor and the rest of the Medicare team, the Senior Policy Analyst will guide research projects related to Medicare policy from ideation to publication on the KFF website. KFF is the leading health policy organization in the U.S. As a one-of-a-kind information organization, we bring together substantial capabilities in policy research, polling, and journalism in one organization to meet the need for a trusted, independent source of information on national health issues—one with the scope and reach to be a counterweight to health care’s vested interests and a voice for people. We have four major program areas: policy analysis, polling, journalism, and health information and trust. KFF is not a foundation and has no connection to Kaiser Permanente. Legally, we are a public charity (an endowed national nonprofit organization). We are headquartered in San Francisco with a building in Washington, DC, conference centers in both offices, and staff members in almost every state. KFF has deep expertise based on our research and analysis of the Medicare program and the population of seniors and people with disabilities it covers.
