About The Position

The Senior Plumbing Engineer will combine deep technical plumbing expertise with leadership responsibilities in growing our plumbing team. This role balances hands-on project involvement with business development, client engagement, and mentoring of engineering staff. The successful candidate will drive innovation in healthcare plumbing design, lead project delivery, and contribute to the strategic growth of our healthcare portfolio. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Engineering field.
  • 10+ years’ experience engineering and managing plumbing systems projects from start to finish for the built environment.

  • Registered Professional Engineer a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead plumbing system design, engineering, and planning across diverse project types
  • Manage multidisciplinary teams through all phases of design and construction, serving as a client-facing lead as needed
  • Develop and review key deliverables, including drawings, specifications, calculations, and bid packages
  • Ensure quality and compliance through QA/QC reviews and application of applicable codes and standards
  • Solve complex, multi-discipline engineering challenges and drive effective project outcomes
  • Mentor and guide engineering and design staff, providing technical oversight and support
  • Support client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives
  • Collaborate with project managers and support staff to deliver projects on schedule and within scope.
  • Manage proposal development and provide technical input for projects as needed.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of design standards and best practices.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and management.
  • Continue to build technical expertise in specialized plumbing systems
