About The Position

The Senior Plumbing Engineer serves to design and develop plumbing systems for use in commercial buildings. In this role, you will: Design plumbing systems including medical/laboratory piping and gases. Oversee the preparation of technical drawings, specifications of plumbing systems and topographical maps. Lead project teams and serve as the primary contact for discipline with clients Prepare specifications for purchases of materials and equipment. Develop calculations for plumbing systems and associated controls. Perform QA/QC of design work.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience.
• A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing design and corresponding terminology.
• Experience with laboratories/medical facilities design.
• An excellent work ethic and attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office
• Ability to successfully lead teams and manage projects
• Excellent ability to read, interpret and implement plumbing design documentation.
• Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work.
