About The Position

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is hiring a Senior Platform Software Engineer for its Secure Network Engineering team, focused on designing, developing, and integrating Zero Trust Network Services and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) solutions. The role contributes to secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for OCI’s distributed, multi-tenant environment, including technologies such as network routing, firewalls, key-based authentication, and cloud service-level authorization. The engineer owns a bounded platform component, such as a service module or SDK area, and evolves its contracts for multi-tenant use. The work includes debugging across a limited service graph, implementing compatibility-safe remediation, improving resilience and capacity, and documenting adoption guidance. The engineer also contributes to backend services, system design and architecture, code reviews, software testing, performance optimization, API lifecycle management, secure coding, and system maintenance. Collaboration with engineering teams and customer-focused issue resolution are part of the role. The position is onsite five days per week in Nashville, Tennessee. Relocation assistance is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.
