Senior Platform Engineer (AWS / DevOps) (Hybrid)

Aeroflow HealthAsheville, NC
Hybrid

About The Position

Aeroflow Health is a national leader in home medical equipment and clinical services, combining technology, operational excellence, and compassionate expertise to deliver essential products and care directly to patients’ homes. The Product Delivery Platform Engineering team enables engineering teams to build, deploy, and operate software quickly, securely, and reliably at scale. This team builds and supports the cloud infrastructure, tooling, automation, observability, and engineering workflows that power software delivery across the organization. The team supports Ecommerce Product Engineering, Internal Product Engineering, and Innovation Engineering by improving developer experience, standardizing delivery workflows, increasing operational visibility, reducing friction across the software development lifecycle, and creating scalable engineering systems that help teams move faster without increasing operational risk. This role is not a traditional infrastructure support or ticket-based DevOps role. The team operates using modern Platform Engineering and DevOps principles focused on developer enablement, cloud infrastructure and automation, CI/CD reliability and delivery acceleration, observability and operational excellence, security and compliance enablement, and developer experience and engineering effectiveness. As a Senior Product Delivery Platform Engineer (DevOps / AWS), you will play a foundational role in improving how software is built, deployed, monitored, and operated across Aeroflow Health. You will partner closely with software engineers to reduce operational friction, improve reliability, simplify workflows, and create systems that help teams move faster without sacrificing quality, security, or scalability. Success in this role requires someone who enjoys building systems, simplifying complexity, solving hard problems, and acting as a trusted technical partner to engineering teams. This role is intended to be a local, long-term engineering hire who can build strong partnership and context within Aeroflow’s engineering organization. While flexibility exists, this position is expected to operate in a hybrid model, particularly during onboarding and the initial ramp period, to support relationship-building, team integration, knowledge transfer, and close collaboration with engineering stakeholders. Candidates should be located within reasonable commuting distance of Asheville, NC or be open to relocation.
