Senior Platform Engineer-Applied AI
About The Position
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with Applied AI experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience building and maintaining platform infrastructure, with strong full-stack capabilities. This role requires experience in a VC-backed startup environment, as a founding engineer at a company that raised $2.5M+, or in a company specializing in managing data at scale. You will be responsible for designing, building, and operating production distributed systems and platform infrastructure in cloud environments (GCP or AWS). Experience with specific teams at Amazon Mechanical Turk or Meta GenAI is also highly valued.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience building and maintaining platform infrastructure
- Full-stack capabilities
- Experience at a VC-backed startup, as a founding engineer at a company that raised $2.5M+, or from a company that specializes in managing data at scale (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Confluent)
- Strong experience building production distributed systems or platform infrastructure
- Experience designing and operating systems in cloud environments (GCP or AWS)
- Experience at Amazon Mechanical Turk or Meta GenAI team
- CS degree from a top 30 school (US/CA/EUR only)
- Kubernetes expertise
- Node.js or Python proficiency
- Kafka, Redis, Elasticsearch
