About The Position

Raytheon has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Planning and Production Control Manager who will perform as a key member of the Planning and Production Control Team supporting factories that are part of the Integration Manufacturing Center (IMC). This position will lead Production Control Teams in Tucson, Arizona, ensuring the full compliance of company policies and procedures. The role supports the deployment of Operations strategy and metrics to accurately measure progress, drive continuous improvement, and improve on-time delivery. The manager will also coach the team on processes and career development, and lead efforts to develop and implement process improvements and cost reductions utilizing CORE best practices and processes. This will be an onsite role in our Tucson, AZ facility.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum ten (10) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum seven (7) years' experience.
  • Experience with Planning and or Production Control in a manufacturing environment
  • Supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Previous Planning and Production Control experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience with process improvement tools and applications
  • Experience leading teams in cost reduction/process improvement initiatives
  • Knowledge of Integrated Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Depot, Sales and Operations Planning as well as Inventory Management.
  • Experience with hiring, staffing, planning, or budget management
  • MRP (Materials Requirement Planning) knowledge and analytical skills
