About The Position

The Senior Planner/Scheduler, Materials Planning is responsible for managing production planning, material requirements planning, and inventory control to support manufacturing operations. This role develops capacity-aligned production plans and ensures material availability to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels. The position plays a critical role in aligning supply chain activities with business objectives through cross-functional collaboration and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain planning, materials planning, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and forecasting processes.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
Effective communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Accounting, or related field.
Familiarity with MRPII, APICS frameworks, or advanced supply chain methodologies.
Advanced analytical skills with experience in demand and supply planning optimization.
Experience working in manufacturing or industrial supply chain environments.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain production and material plans aligned with demand forecasts, inventory strategies, and capacity constraints.
Manage MRP processes and raw material planning to ensure supply availability and support production schedules.
Analyze inventory performance, including slow-moving and excess inventory, and drive optimization initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve supply constraints and ensure alignment across planning, production, and demand management.
Support S&OP processes by providing data, insights, and recommendations to improve supply chain performance.
