About The Position
Kimley-Horn’s planning team is growing and has a rewarding opportunity for a motivated Senior Planner, Practice Builder, to join our team in beautiful Naples, FL. The successful candidate will be a leader in a practice specializing in regional master planning, land use and zoning, and land planning focused in Southwest Florida. This individual will have an entrepreneurial spirit and create a vision for growth for our Land Planning Services practice team while growing their own projects, clients and team around them.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in city and regional planning, civil engineering, or related discipline
- Business development and marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgeting for projected work
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage & mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
Responsibilities
- Lead business development efforts
- Develop and manage relationships with key clients
- Oversee all project tasks
- Mentor the growth of younger staff
- Lead, direct, and grow their business

- Lead a team while building and managing relationships with key clients

- Provide practice vision, business planning and strategy, establishing goals, building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Open communication with partners and team, along with growing and directing a Community Planning Services practice
- Manage projects profitably
