About The Position

The Senior Planned Giving Operations Specialist, Marketing works in coordination with Planned Giving leadership to help ensure the overall success and effectiveness of the Planned Giving program. This individual’s primary responsibilities will be to provide strategic input, high level support, and coordination for all aspects of a robust Planned Giving marketing program. This position is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Tampa, FL with some limited opportunity for remote work based on business needs.

Requirements

  • 7 years of administrative experience in an office setting
  • Bachelor's Degree - or 4 years of development/fundraising experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Executive Director, support all aspects of a robust planned giving marketing program.
  • Manage and execute select national and regional advertising initiatives requiring a blend of centralized strategy and customization.
  • Ensure all Stelter print and digital projects stay on schedule and are completed on time.
  • Manage a comprehensive, highly detailed editing process involving developmental edits and final proofreading.
  • Ensure all Stelter communications are bulk uploaded to CRM.
  • Obtain all necessary approvals of marketing content and collateral materials.
  • Synthesize data on responses and outcomes of all planned giving marketing efforts, including all Stelter print and digital communication.
  • Track and monitor the results of additional planned giving marketing efforts beyond Stelter, such as national magazine ads.
  • Prepare monthly presentation materials on both responses and fundraising outcomes associated with all planned giving marketing efforts with year-over-year comparison data.
  • Serve as a trusted liaison to all Planned Giving marketing partners.
  • As a member of the Planned Giving Operations team, assist in overall office operations.
  • Advance fundraising and stewardship efforts by responding to donor requests and inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Provide high-level support for the Executive Director of Planned Giving on the preparation of key reports, plans, presentation materials, select correspondence, and training initiatives.
  • Manage special projects as assigned and needed.
  • Attend meetings with our vendors, as needed, which may be held off-site.
  • Assist with national and local events, as requested.
  • Visit direct mail cager, as needed, for an operational review of our work instructions, train, and make any adjustments for the current year or upcoming year.
  • Assist in maintaining a strong, collaborative, and positive partnership with the entire Planned Giving team and other Office of Philanthropy teams to help ensure fundraising goals are met.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable in planned giving trends and best practices.
