About The Position

Review water and wastewater capacity reservation (WCR) applications and generate WCR letters for impact fee administration. Assess impact fees within an excel based web client in accordance with ordinances, state laws and regulations, review legal documents, surveys, site plans and plats. Daily correspondence with customers regarding the status of their applications. Maintain collaboration with other sections, divisions and departments. Will assist in creating reports, standard operating procedures and assist in special projects as necessary.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, teams, outlook, and adobe
• Superb customer service experience via phone / in-person / email
• Great writing and critical thinking skills, for document analysis
• Able to review surveys, floor plans, site plans, google earth, GIS / mapping systems
• Problem solver
• Related Associate's degree, such as Building Inspection, or the equivalent
• Two years of skilled, journey level experience in building trades, inspection or plan examining in the area of analysis to be performed
• May require a valid Texas driver's license and compliance with the client's policy on driving

Nice To Haves

• Two additional years of skilled, journey level experience in building trades, inspection or plan examining in the area of analysis to be performed may be substituted for the above degree requirement
