About The Position
This role oversees preventative physical security and compliance, developing, delivering, maintaining, and monitoring physical security policies, standards, and best practices. It also oversees compliance and the implementation of disaster recovery procedures.
Requirements
- Represents MasterCard while interacting with Fire, EMS and Law Enforcement liaison at State and Local levels
- Experiences working with internal stakeholders to evaluate security risk and provide mitigation ideas
- Experienced at oversight of a hybrid security team, both in house armed and unarmed security officers
- Experience with firearms training, tracking and safety protocols
- Understanding of Physical Security Best Practices
Responsibilities
- Manages training and security licensing of all security officers in North America
- Manage, track and maintain company issued assets relative to security officers in North America.
- Recognizes potential and realized security threats and takes reasonable action to mitigate risk or injuries to personnel and or property
- Provides MasterCard Corporate Security Standard Operating Guidelines to contract security supervisors and follows-up to ensure adherence
- Manage and institute necessary physical security policies, programs and procedures relative to the security officers and procedures.
- Recommends the development and implementation of physical security policies, programs and procedures
- Ensures initiatives align with department goals, and processes/procedures are maintained to meet service and quality standards
- Coordinates and administers vendor contracts (i.e act as point of contact with uniform company and arms vendor)
- Manages and administers emergency planning/response and incident management/reporting programs
- Reviews and resolves Incident Reports
