About The Position

We are seeking Senior Full Stack Developers with deep expertise in PHP (Laravel) and FilamentPHP to build and maintain robust API-driven solutions, particularly for integrations with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems like Epic, ModMed, Athena, and Cerner. You will be responsible for building scalable APIs, handling data extraction, and leading complex backend development using the LAMP stack.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in PHP with strong expertise in Laravel framework.
• 2+ years of FilamentPHP development experience (must-have).
• Proven experience building secure, scalable REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of MySQL, data modeling, and backend architecture.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Huge plus if you have an understanding of FHIR standards and experience with EHR integrations.
• Experience working in healthcare tech environments is a plus.
• Experience with GraphQL, Docker, or modern DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using PHP (Laravel) and FilamentPHP.
• Integrate with and extract data from major EHR systems (Epic, ModMed, Athena, Cerner).
• Implement and map FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) data standards.
• Work with stakeholders to define technical solutions and system architecture.
• Perform data modeling, transformation, and mapping to ensure accurate integration and analysis.
• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and API reliability.
