About The Position

HyperLight is a company focused on the commercialization of thin-film lithium niobate (TFLN) integrated photonics, a technology enabling high-performance optical components for AI/datacom, hyperscale computing, quantum computing, and sensing. Founded in 2018, HyperLight has developed the TFLN Chiplet™ platform, designed for scalability, manufacturability, and seamless integration. The company collaborates with customers and suppliers from conceptualization to mass production. HyperLight is seeking a highly motivated Senior Photonics Process Development Engineer to join its growing team. This role involves driving the development, optimization, and scaling of fabrication processes on the TFLN platform, with direct customer interaction to understand needs and translate them into scalable fabrication processes. The engineer will take ownership of advanced process node development, manage complex process variations, and ensure timely execution to meet customer requirements. This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally within HyperLight and interface with both customers and suppliers in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-growth environment.
