About The Position

To apply and contribute to the St. Joseph’s Health mission and values in obtaining quality blood samples for laboratory analysis to diagnose or monitor medical conditions. Responsibilities include performing venipunctures, specimen handling, patient care and data management. This position combines technical and advisory skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program or will graduate within 12 months of hire into role
  • CPR Certification required
  • Phlebotomy Certification required
  • Minimum 3 years of Phlebotomy experience required
  • Medical Terminology required
  • Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required
  • Manual dexterity required
  • Computer knowledge preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with science courses preferred
