These bank specialists leverage resources, valuable research, relationships, custom solutions, and highly tuned strategies to address clients' unique needs and aspirations. BL&T further provides guidance on a variety of banking and fiduciary topics including investment management, general trust administration, specialty trusts, custody, tax, specialty assets, regulatory, privacy, ecommerce, deposit relationship and strategy, and business strategies. The section also provides support to the WIM Diverse Segments group, including WIM referral activity. Trust Services Trust advisors discuss the needs of HNW and UHNW clients and provide personalized advice and wealth and asset management services, including: Personal trust services, Estate services, Philanthropic services, Closely held asset management, Real estate and loan asset management, Energy asset management, Legacy trust services, Special needs trust services, Managed Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA). The Senior Philanthropic Advisor serves as a senior subject matter expert and trusted advisor responsible for managing a book of complex philanthropic client relationships. This role partners with high-net-worth individuals, families, family foundations, charitable organizations, and other fiduciary clients to develop and implement charitable strategies that align with their philanthropic values, legacy objectives, and overall wealth planning goals. The Senior Philanthropic Advisor maintains a deep understanding of the full spectrum of charitable giving vehicles, including private foundations, donor-advised funds, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, supporting organizations, and direct charitable gifting strategies. The advisor provides consultative guidance to clients on the benefits, limitations, governance considerations, and tax implications of various philanthropic structures while helping clients achieve their charitable objectives in a thoughtful and impactful manner. The role requires advanced expertise in charitable funding strategies, including contributions of complex assets such as closely held business interests, restricted and low-basis stock, real estate, and other illiquid assets. The Senior Philanthropic Advisor works closely with clients and their professional advisors to evaluate giving strategies, structure charitable transactions, and navigate the operational, legal, tax, and fiduciary considerations associated with complex charitable gifts. In addition to serving as a strategic philanthropic advisor, this role leads operational support for fiduciary professionals administering a portfolio of sophisticated client relationships and charitable entities. The Senior Philanthropic Advisor ensures accounts are managed in accordance with fiduciary principles, governing documents, applicable laws, and organizational policies. This includes overseeing ongoing account administration, responding to client needs, mitigating fiduciary risks, coordinating with internal and external partners, and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Fiduciary Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience and education
