As a Senior Pharmacy Care Technician, you will perform live telephonic outreach to UHC Medicare members and their physicians/pharmacies to improve health quality outcomes (i.e., medication adherence, appropriate drug utilization). This is your opportunity to join a pharmacy team with a focus on clinical and business collaboration. You will find an incredible team culture that provides opportunities to learn and evolve every day. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am – 5pm. This is a hybrid-remote role. You will be required to work onsite 1 day per month and work remotely (work from home) all other days of the month. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm AZ Location: Remote, one Wednesday each month being onsite at 1 East Washington Street, Phoenix, AZ You will be required to work onsite 1 day per month. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in your state of residence
  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • 3+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Beginner level of proficiency with navigating Microsoft Office and a Windows-based environment
  • Reside within commutable distance to Phoenix,. AZ office location
  • Ability to work Monday – Friday, 8-hour shift between the hours of 8am – 5pm

Nice To Haves

  • Retail and/or mail order pharmacy experience
  • Experience with Part D claims adjudication

Responsibilities

  • Perform telephonic customer outreach to improve health quality outcomes in collaboration with Clinical Pharmacists
  • Provide additional telephonic engagement with providers and pharmacies
  • Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements, triaging to a Clinical Pharmacist when appropriate
  • Outbound calls to CAHPs detractors and MedAdhmembers to improve member experience and reduce barriers to adherence drugs
  • Document and track member engagement
