The County of Yolo Human Resources (HR) Department is recruiting for motivated and experienced human resources professionals to fill one (1) full-time position in the class of Senior Personnel Analyst. This Senior Personnel Analyst position will report to a Human Resources Manager or higher-level personnel and provide expert advice and guidance to County departments, staff, and other HR business partners. Areas of support and oversight include, but not limited to, recruitment and selection, employee onboarding, classification and compensation, policy development and interpretation, workforce planning and training, performance management, HRIS, and personnel administration and relations. The incumbent is expected to exercise a high degree of independent judgment in day-to-day assignments and is assigned comprehensive analyses, studies, countywide programs, and special projects that typically involve extensive advance planning and scheduling. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed, positive, and customer-focused individual who enjoys collaborating with staff and stakeholders to contribute to the overall success and growth of the department and organization. Demonstrate proactiveness in the County’s and HR Department’s efforts to update and enhance pertinent policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. Possess a high level of functional knowledge, skill, and expertise across multiple HR disciplines. Exhibit a progressive and forward-thinking approach to problem solving, as well as possess strong communication and analytical skills. Demonstrate a commitment to fostering an equitable and inclusive work environment.
