Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Mathematics, or a related field; CFA candidacy or designation is considered an asset.
  • Fully bilingual (French/English): The successful candidate will be required to communicate in English and French in order to support clients from various jurisdictions outside of Quebec.
  • Strong technical skills, including SQL database knowledge, advanced Excel modelling, and experience with Python; Power BI expertise is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Private Assets and Fixed Income performance measurement, attribution, and related reporting processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate cross-functional work, and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong planning, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills; familiarity with Copilot Studio is an asset.

Nice To Haves

  • CFA candidacy or designation is considered an asset.
  • Power BI expertise is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain performance analytics tools, including the Senior Loan Sylvan performance IRR module using Python.
  • Design, enhance, and deliver Power BI reporting solutions that provide meaningful insights for Investment, Fund Valuation, Performance, and Client Reporting stakeholders.
  • Build and support centralized SQL database capabilities for private markets data, including automation of Power BI report generation.
  • Lead and coordinate automation initiatives, including the Bloomberg Port/Aladdin upload process, to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Support daily performance data validation and compliance processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.
