About The Position

Werfen is seeking a highly motivated, people-centered Senior People Partner to support the Transfusion business unit. Serving as a strategic consultant, trusted advisor, and talent architect for mid and senior-level leaders, this role partners closely with business and People Function leaders to align people strategies with business objectives, optimize organizational effectiveness, and drive a positive employee experience. Based in Norcross, this high-impact position requires strong business acumen, sound judgment, deep relationship-building skills, and a passion for developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) required in Human Resources or other related business field.
  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including at least 3 years in an HR Business Partner or strategic HR advisory role
  • Experience partnering with mid-level and senior leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, performance management, talent management, organizational effectiveness, and change management.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and provide coaching on complex people-related matters.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to leverage data to drive recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Management has the discretion of substituting relevant work experience for a degree and/or making exceptions to the years of experience requirement.

  • Labor law & Compliance knowledge: Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, EEOC regulations, DOL requirements, OSHA, and organizational policies
  • Analytical and Data-Driven: Analyze employee relations trends, offboarding data, and workforce metrics to recommend proactive interventions and process improvements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings, recommendations, and guidance clearly and persuasively to all levels of the organization
  • Maintains the highest level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive employee matters
  • Demonstrates continuous improvement and agility by proactively evaluating existing processes, adapting quickly to changing business needs, and implementing practical, scalable enhancements that improve efficiency, consistency, and the employee experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, drive policy or process change, and ensure adoption

Responsibilities

  • Utilize strong business acumen, influencing skills, sound judgment, and People expertise to drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, workforce planning, and change management initiatives
  • Leverage people data and engagement survey insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and recommend actions that enhance employee experience and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
  • Partner with department leaders, site managers, employees, and People Business Partners to support People initiatives across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring consistent process execution and a positive employee experience.
  • Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on People processes, policies, and best practices to ensure efficient and compliant execution of daily People activities.
  • Lead and conduct investigations ranging from simple to highly complex, including employee relations issues, EEOC and DOL charges, and hotline complaints, in partnership with People Business Partners, Global Compliance, and Legal.
  • Provide policy interpretation guidance to managers and People Business Partners, partnering with Total Rewards and Legal to ensure alignment and compliance of People Function policies with organizational standards and Werfen values.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by aligning people, systems, and processes with evolving business needs.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
