The Americas region is a critical growth market for the business, and this role exists because the organisation needs a trusted, senior, on-the-ground authority who can be relied upon to protect the business, support its people, and drive the People & Culture agenda without needing to escalate every decision globally. The successful candidate will be given real authority to act and will be expected to use it. This is the most senior People & Culture role in the Americas and one of the most important hires in the region. The Senior People & Culture Business Partner acts as the single point of authority and accountability for all HR matters across the United States — spanning Dallas, Florida, and New York — and is the face of People & Culture for every leader and employee in the region. Operating as a standalone senior leader, this role carries full ownership of US employment legislation, tax, payroll compliance, and regulatory risk, and is trusted to make judgement calls independently, without day-to-day oversight. While the role reports formally to the Chief People Officer, the successful candidate will hold the seniority, authority, and credibility to represent the CPO in their absence, to make binding people decisions on the ground. This is not a role for someone seeking a narrow, execution-only HRBP remit. It requires a seasoned, commercially fluent HR leader who can operate as a true business partner to the most senior leaders in the Americas, while also rolling up their sleeves on the technical detail of US employment law, multi-state compliance, and tax.
