Requirements

  • Four year college degree with relevant payroll experience.
  • Two + years of payroll processing.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting and financial reporting.

  • Workday experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete all facets of payroll for multiple companies along with creating process improvements, leveraging technology for efficiency gains and continuously enhancing the payroll process.
  • Responsible for assisting administrators and business analysts in the processing of payroll.
  • Coordinate the timely preparation of monthly account reconciliations.
  • Ensuring the timely receiving of EIB’s and time submission.
  • Coordinate the final transmission of payroll.
  • Verifying the acceptance and processing of payroll file submissions.
  • Trouble shooting of processing issues.
  • Timely resolution of tax notices and audits.
  • Utilizing Workday to run all end to end payroll process.
  • Follow up with managers/supervisors to ensure all employee time has been approved.
  • Loading and verifying the accuracy of all templates received from financial operators.
  • Analyze payroll for accuracy before submitting for payment.
  • Calculation of productive and sales based pay.
  • Reconciliation of all payroll related deductions.
  • Working with 3rd party provider to correct any tax issues that may arise.
  • Fund all 401K and perform periodic reconciliations.
  • Complete off cycle bonus and non-traditional payment runs for assigned pay group as required.
  • Process all payroll related GL entries and adjustments.
  • Adhoc reporting and periodic audit of taxes.
  • Annual workers compensation audit for assigned pay group.
  • Interrupting and loading garnishments.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our business partners.
  • Other payroll/accounting duties as assigned
