About The Position

This position is responsible and accountable for the coordination of patient care as patients arrive from a referring medical office through scheduling and registering for their services at the Issaquah Highlands facility. This position performs a variety of front office clerical and pre-business services within the hospital setting. Primary responsibilities include patient registration, patient scheduling activities, acquiring insurance verifications and Physician orders, referrals, and triaging phone calls. Requirements

• 1 year of recent receptionist or front desk experience in a health care field
• Experience with medical terminology and basic medical record processes

Nice To Haves

• Associate's Degree Or equivalent from a college or technical school
• Medical Terminology Certification
• Medical insurance & billing experience
• Experience with computerized scheduling or relational databases
