About The Position

SIRUM is expanding to Chicago and hiring a Senior Partnership Manager to lead their community partnership work in Chicago. This role is for someone with deep expertise in healthcare or social services who is energized by the chance to apply that experience to system-level change, helping organizations connect their patients to affordable medication. The role involves building trusted relationships with organizations serving low-income communities, meeting people where they are, and translating a real solution into partnerships that change lives. The ideal candidate has 15+ years of frontline experience and is looking for flexible, mission-aligned work where their expertise can shape how medication reaches patients across Chicago.

Requirements

  • Chicago-based, with substantial experience across the city's healthcare and social-service ecosystem
  • 15+ years of experience in primary healthcare or community-services settings (FQHC, safety-net clinic, hospital, public health) as a social worker, care coordinator, LCSW, community health worker, or similar role
  • Have managed workflows for low-income, uninsured, or underinsured populations and understand the operational and clinical trade-offs that come with that
  • Track record of building cross-functional relationships across the org chart
  • Highly autonomous: can run a pipeline, prioritize your time, and report up cleanly without daily oversight

Nice To Haves

  • A senior social worker, care coordinator, or program leader with experience at Chicago FQHCs, community health centers, or safety-net institutions, who is excited about a flexible role where their experience and judgment can shape how medication access reaches patients across the city.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate high-leverage partnerships with healthcare providers (FQHCs, safety-net clinics, hospitals) and community-based organizations across Chicago metro, with a focus on organizations serving families in lower-income communities
  • Lead conversations with senior decision-makers (CEOs, Medical Directors, Program Directors) and adapt SIRUM's pitch to each
  • Steer partnership models that range from patient referral relationships to white-label pharmacy solutions through Good Pill
  • Guide partner organizations through implementation and staff training
  • Ensure a clean handoff to the Partner Success Team after partnership launch
  • Capture institutional knowledge into a replicable Chicago playbook
  • Map Chicago's healthcare and social-service landscape and identify the highest-leverage referral nodes
  • Represent SIRUM at community events, health fairs, and professional convenings

Benefits

  • Direct, measurable impact on thousands of families' lives
  • Consistent 20 hours/week, with a recurring schedule you set
  • Collaboration with a mission-driven national team
  • Strong performance may lead to expanded scope or a full-time opportunity
