About The Position

This position references general manual labor at Camp Dearborn. Assigned areas/ divisions of the park include duties in, but are not limited to: leadership in the operation of Recreation Activities & Events, Paddle Boats & Adventure Golf, Canteen & Pool Canteen Concessions, collection of gate admission fees, retail sales, comfort station maintenance, and the general park maintenance of onsite facilities: trash collection, BBQ & fire pit cleaning, beach & lake maintenance, painting, lawncare, and other duties as assigned. This position may also assume responsibility for guest admission at various gates as well as working alongside and coordinating Junior Park Attendants as necessary.

Requirements

Must possess a valid driver license.
Must submit to a criminal history check (sex offender registry if applicable) and pre-employment physical/drug screen.
Skill in accurately counting and recording cash transactions with speed.
Previous customer service training with a positive attitude and outgoing personality.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
Ability to follow through with task completion.
