About The Position

This role focuses on Parenteral Inspection services within the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in sciences or engineering, coupled with significant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, specifically in parenteral operations. The position requires a self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail, a commitment to customer service, and an interest in diversity and environmental responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer)
  • Five (5) years of exposure in the Pharmaceutical industry (Parenteral Manufacturing / Packaging Operations)
  • Experience in Parenteral Inspection and Packaging processes
  • Understanding of a broad spectrum of packaging materials, structures, components, and related conversion processes, especially packaging components for sterile products.
  • Excellent technical writing/oral communication skills (English/Spanish)

Responsibilities

  • Improve inspection processes, technologies, and systems to ensure compliance with drug quality and cost specifications.
  • Write test procedures, inspection machinery specifications, perform line trials and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate inspection process validation and line trial activities with local validation, production, engineering, planning, and quality groups.
  • Support new inspection technology and product transfers.
  • Support and assess current inspection processes; perform improvements or changes to existing inspection technology processes.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute projects to assure achievement of site’s departmental and company goals and objectives.
  • Manage project timetables for new and ongoing projects.
  • Provide project status through the use of project plans, presentations, or written reports.
  • Provide troubleshooting and inspection equipment, executing equipment trials and systems.
  • Provide assistance and technical support to inspection projects for products manufactured at the pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
