About The Position

As a Starbucks senior paralegal– Licensing & Channel Development, you will be part of the team supporting Starbucks licensed coffeehouses and channel development businesses. You will participate in the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements with third-party brand licensees, will collect and organize information to confirm related regulatory compliance, and will help advise clients on operational issues and dispute resolution. We are seeking applicants who can support fast-paced business development organizations, interact directly with clients and external parties and their legal teams, draft clear and effective contract language, and organize and prioritize an active pipeline of deals and related matters. Requirements

  • Law firm or in-house corporate legal department experience
  • 7+ years relevant paralegal experience
  • Significant contract drafting experience
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to evaluate and prioritize competing client needs across a large volume of work
  • Comfort and flexibility with technology
