We boldly go. Where is the work: Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires. What you will do: Support the Labor & Employment team by maintaining litigation reports and files, drafting correspondence, and optimizing workflows Assist with employment litigation matters by issuing litigation hold notices, compiling and organizing discovery, and corresponding with external counsel Assist with pre-dispute and administrative charges by participating in Company investigations, and drafting responses to correspondence from attorneys, federal and state agencies, and other regulatory authorities Primary point of contact for employee information requests and subpoenas Researching specific legal issues and topics Assist in the benefit plan claims procedure process, including reviewing and revising claim letters Responsible for certain administrative duties, e.g., maintaining files, scheduling team meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies
  • 5-10+ years of paralegal or comparable experience
  • Strong professionalism and skill in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple priorities while consistently meeting aggressive and time-sensitive deadlines
  • Must be a proactive and forward-thinking and demonstrate initiative
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented and fun but fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Paralegal Certificate
  • Previous experience with e-billing and matter management systems
  • Previous experience overseeing a litigation docket and knowledge of ERISA
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
