About The Position

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Employment Immigration Paralegal to join our team. Job Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in the preparation and filing of employment-based immigration petitions and applications, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, PERM, I-140, and adjustment of status cases. Draft and compile petitions, support letters, and forms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with USCIS and DOL requirements. Coordinate and manage PERM labor certification processes, including prevailing wage requests and recruitment documentation. Communicate with corporate clients and foreign nationals to gather required documentation and provide timely case updates. Maintain and organize case files in case management systems, ensuring all records are complete and up to date. Monitor case progress, track deadlines, and ensure timely filings and responses to RFEs and audits. Conduct legal and procedural research related to employment-based immigration matters. Prepare and review supporting documentation, including corporate documents, employee credentials, and compliance records. Coordinate with government agencies such as USCIS, DOL, and consulates as needed. Assist attorneys with audit responses, compliance matters, and client strategy discussions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment-based immigration.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment immigration processes, including nonimmigrant visas and PERM labor certification.
  • Experience handling high-volume caseloads in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with corporate clients is preferred.
  • Bilingual (especially Spanish) is a plus.
