About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Law Paralegal to join our legal team and support our global employment law professionals across a wide range of labor and employment matters, including Title VII and ADA programming, compliance, litigation, internal investigations, and regulatory response. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and experienced in managing sensitive employment matters in a fast‑paced environment. This role provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate with HR partners, outside counsel, and internal stakeholders and business leaders on a variety of legal, compliance and human resource issues.

Requirements

  • Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience as a paralegal, with demonstrated experience in employment/labor law.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws (e.g., Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, labor regulations).
  • Proficiency with legal research tools (Westlaw/LexisNexis), legal billing systems, and highly organized with email, Sharepoint and OneNote.
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills with demonstrated experience drafting legal materials.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple project and competing deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ability to directly communicate with external stakeholders, including federal or state agency representatives on behalf of the company.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., HR, Legal Studies, Business, Psychology) preferred.
  • Experience supporting internal investigations, employment compliance programs, or multi‑jurisdictional employment matters. Preference for individuals with experience in corporate setting or working with global stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with e‑discovery workflows, legal holds, and litigation databases.
  • Experience working with senior leadership, HR partners, and outside counsel.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR and business partners to gather information, respond to employment-related inquiries, and support compliance initiatives.
  • For growing global employment team, support standardization of legal process, template and workflow materials for investigations, training, employment contracts and agreements, review of departmental restructures and reductions, and related processes.
  • Draft and update employment-related policies, procedures, playbooks, process flows, handbook language, and compliance documents as needed.
  • Serve as an initial point of contact for internal stakeholders needing guidance on legal processes related to employment matters.
  • Serve as US Title VII & ADA Coordinator, which may include coordinating internal policies and programming, maintaining internal filing and compliance systems, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate mandatory reporting for general employment and federal contractor compliance initiatives including: EEOC, EEO-1, census, federal and state agencies. This may include primary response point for internal and external audits and response to supplier or customer employment-related inquires.
  • Assist in internal investigations of employee complaints, workplace concerns, and allegations of compliance violations.
  • Support preparation of EEOC, OFCCP, DOL, NLRB, OSHA and state/local agency reports, responses, statements of position, and related filings.
  • Coordinate document gathering for compliance reviews, discovery, subpoenas, and other legal information requests.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, litigation databases, employment records, and case calendars to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support contract review workflows, including templating, intake, and preparation for attorney review.
  • Manage legal holds, e‑discovery support, and data preservation requirements.
  • Assist attorneys with workplace dispute matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage & hour, ADA, FMLA, and Title VII issues.
  • Draft, prepare, review and assist external counsel with legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, demand letters, and Rule 26 disclosures.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel regarding case strategy, fact development, billing and document production needs.
  • Conduct legal research on employment laws, regulations, case precedents, and agency advisements/rulings using internet and AI platforms.
  • Summarize findings and prepare research memos and briefs for attorney review.
