About The Position

The Senior Paid Media Manager owns the end-to-end paid media strategy and execution across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook & Instagram). This role is responsible for driving revenue-centric performance, leading strategy for high-value accounts, and managing a team of Paid Media Specialists responsible for day-to-day execution. This is a player-coach role that combines hands-on strategic ownership, execution, and people leadership. The Senior Paid Media Manager operates comfortably in a fast-paced, evolving environment, balancing multiple priorities while partnering closely with Sales, SEO, and Customer Success to ensure paid media is a core driver of client growth and business impact.

Requirements

  • 6–9+ years of hands-on paid media experience across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook & Instagram).
  • 2+ years of experience managing or mentoring paid media specialists or similar roles.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in Meta Ads Manager, including campaign architecture, creative testing, budget pacing, and performance optimization.
  • Proven ability to navigate a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities and tight timelines.
  • Strong understanding of revenue attribution, funnel dynamics, and paid media’s role in growth.
  • Ability to clearly communicate performance insights to clients, specialists, and senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable operating as a player-coach in an evolving organization.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end paid media strategy and performance across Google Ads and Meta (Facebook & Instagram).
  • Set strategic direction for campaigns, including:
  • Audience strategy (prospecting, retargeting, lookalikes)
  • Creative testing frameworks and iteration
  • Budget pacing and performance optimization
  • Review campaign performance regularly and guide the team on optimization priorities.
  • Step in hands-on when needed for complex accounts, high-impact launches, or executive-level client escalations.
  • Stay current on platform changes, attribution limitations, and best practices, with deep expertise in Meta Ads Manager, campaign structure, and signal loss considerations.
  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of Paid Media Specialists.
  • Set clear performance expectations, goals, and quality standards in a high-velocity operating environment.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and ongoing feedback.
  • Build team capability through training, documentation, and best-practice sharing.
  • Ensure consistent execution quality, efficiency, and accountability across accounts.
  • Own paid media performance against revenue-centric KPIs (ROAS, CAC, pipeline contribution, revenue impact).
  • Review and approve weekly and monthly reporting prepared by the team.
  • Synthesize account-level data into portfolio-level insights for leadership.
  • Proactively surface trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommend strategic adjustments.
  • Act as the senior paid media lead for high-spend and Tier-1 accounts.
  • Lead or support high-stakes client conversations, translating performance data into actionable growth strategies.
  • Provide portfolio-level visibility into paid media performance to guide internal prioritization and resourcing.
  • Design holistic, multi-channel strategies where Google, Meta, and emerging channels operate as a unified funnel.
  • Navigate high-level client escalations for high-value accounts, stepping in as the senior paid media authority to resolve campaign performance concerns, alignment issues, or delivery risks while protecting client trust and long-term revenue impact.
  • Partner closely with Sales, SEO, and Customer Success to align paid media strategy with client growth goals and GTM priorities.
  • Ensure paid media is integrated into onboarding, retention, and expansion strategies not operated as a silo.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve lead quality, pipeline efficiency, and long-term customer value
