About The Position

Carrier is seeking a motivated and strategic Senior Outside Sales Representatives with a focus on Building Automation to join our team in Coquitlam, BC. In this role, they will act as a key brand ambassador, identifying new business prospects and cultivating deep professional relationships to understand and meet customer needs. The Senior Outside Sales Representatives will be responsible for representing the company’s interests and driving performance through proactive business development and sophisticated relationship management. This is a hybrid role, requiring one day a week in the office and four days a week visiting existing and potential customers.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 + years of experience as a professional in outside sales or business development.
  • Travel up to 25% to attend corporate meetings, training and industry events.
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada.
  • No visa sponsoring available.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and develop long-term personal relationships with prospective accounts to influence future opportunities and ensure customer loyalty.
  • Actively participate in business development activities within defined customer segments to support and execute the overarching business strategy.
  • Proactively identify and develop new customer contact leads to fuel the sales pipeline for the business development team.
  • Identify bid opportunities, prepare comprehensive bid responses, and lead negotiations with potential customers to secure new contracts.
  • Manage the construction database and industry networking.
  • Represent the organization at industry trade shows and events to increase brand visibility and influence key decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with the management team to provide insights and support on prospective target accounts or specific geographic territories.
