About The Position

We are seeking an elite Senior Outbound Business Development Specialist to join our growing telehealth organization. This role is designed for a career outbound sales professional who has mastered the art of high-volume prospecting, relationship building, objection handling, and consistently converting outbound conversations into meaningful business outcomes. We are not looking for someone who has simply worked in a call center. We are looking for a professional who has intentionally built a career around becoming exceptional on the phone—someone who understands call psychology, earns trust quickly, creates engagement from cold outreach, navigates objections naturally, and consistently converts conversations into appointments, consultations, contracts, and new clients. Healthcare experience is welcomed, but it is far less important than proven outbound sales excellence. We can teach our services and treatment model. We are seeking someone who already possesses the discipline, professionalism, resilience, communication instincts, and conversion ability that define a top-performing outbound business development professional. Unlike traditional outbound sales, every conversation you have carries the potential to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. Our patients are often navigating serious or life-threatening illnesses while searching for answers, hope, and better treatment options. Many are not aware of all the care pathways that may be available to them. Every outbound call creates an opportunity to educate, advocate, and connect a patient with treatment options that may improve—or even save—their life. That is why both urgency and conversion matter. Cancer does not wait. Rapid follow-up, persistent outreach, and timely movement from initial contact to provider consultation are critically important. We expect speed and high performance not simply because of sales goals, but because every day can matter for the patients and families we serve. We are looking for someone who can execute with urgency, precision, empathy, and purpose. This role is built for an elite outbound hunter and high-converting operator. You do not simply make calls. You know how to turn cold outreach into answered conversations, answered conversations into engaged prospects, and engaged prospects into appointments, contracts, and won clients. You have likely spent years refining your craft. You understand how to capture attention within seconds, build credibility quickly, ask effective questions, uncover needs, create urgency, overcome objections, and confidently guide a prospect toward a decision. You understand that success is not measured by call volume alone. It is measured by your ability to consistently turn high outbound activity into measurable conversion results. You take pride in your profession. You know your numbers, study your performance, continuously improve your approach, and hold yourself accountable for results.

Requirements

  • Proven experience consistently completing 100 or more outbound/inbound calls per business day in a professional sales, business development, or BDC environment.
  • Demonstrated success converting cold or warm outbound leads into appointments, consultations, signed contracts, won clients, or other measurable business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to turn answered calls into engaged prospects rather than simply completing activity.
  • Strong history of meeting or exceeding outbound activity, appointment, conversion, and revenue goals.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and active-listening skills.
  • Advanced objection-handling, rapport-building, and closing ability.
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility quickly.
  • Strong CRM, pipeline-management, and follow-up discipline.
  • High level of professionalism, accountability, resilience, and self-motivation.
  • Ability to perform in a highly measured, KPI-driven environment.
  • Willingness to provide historical and current performance metrics during the application and interview process.

Nice To Haves

  • Business Development Center experience.
  • BDC leadership, management, coaching, or training experience.
  • Inside sales, outbound sales, appointment-setting, or contract-conversion experience.
  • Experience in automotive, SaaS, financial services, home services, healthcare, or another high-volume outbound environment.
  • Experience with complex, emotional, consultative, or high-consideration sales.
  • Telehealth, healthcare, oncology, or patient-engagement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a minimum of 100 outbound/inbound calls every business day.
  • Engage cold, warm, and previously contacted leads through disciplined outbound outreach.
  • Capture attention quickly and turn answered calls into meaningful, productive conversations.
  • Build trust and establish credibility with prospective patients and their families.
  • Educate prospective patients on available services, treatment options, and appropriate next steps.
  • Identify patient needs, motivations, concerns, objections, and barriers to moving forward.
  • Convert qualified conversations into scheduled provider consultations.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with leads throughout the decision-making process.
  • Guide qualified prospective patients toward enrollment, signed agreements, and beginning care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation.
  • Manage an organized, active, and accountable pipeline.
  • Meet or exceed activity, contact, appointment, conversion, and contract goals.
  • Collaborate with providers, patient coordinators, operations, and leadership.
  • Represent the organization with professionalism, compassion, urgency, and integrity.
