We are looking for an outstanding Orchestration Engineer with a focus on Software Defined Networking (SDN) to help advance our automation transformation within the ET Engineering Core. You will play a key role in identifying areas of improvement in Engineering processes and tools, collaborating with other Orchestration Engineering team members, building automation solutions, and investigating cutting edge technologies that will help bring value. You will imbue agile thinking and DevOps techniques into the Engineering automation development process. Key work responsibilities include: Working as part of DevOps teams on orchestration initiatives Developing network automation using Python and Ansible for CI/CD Participating in design and architecture sessions Supporting engineers in their day to day operations Participating in and building a network automation community of practice An Orchestration Engineer within ET will design, build, and maintain solutions for orchestration and automation with an internal open source, automation-first approach. They will support other Engineers in their mission to deliver highly available and reliable services to the University.
