About The Position

The Senior Oracle SOA Developer independently designs, develops, integrates, and tests complex system interfaces using Oracle SOA Suite 12c on Unix/Linux platforms, following best practices. The role designs business processes using Oracle BPEL composites and JDeveloper, and implements and routes SOAP and REST web services using Oracle Service Bus (OSB), integrating them with BPEL. The developer creates SQL queries, interprets and debugs PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions, and provides Java- and shell-based solutions to enhance the existing interface framework. The role also supports existing programs by triaging failures, resolving issues, participating in on-call duties to meet milestones or client SLAs, and taking part in Joint Application Development sessions for requirements and documentation. Additional responsibilities include supporting releases, maintenance, patching, and security tasks; tracking incidents, defects, and enhancements in Jira; managing design artifacts in SharePoint or Confluence; and keeping the Integration Lead/Manager informed about interface activities, issues, and risks. The position is a six-month contract-to-hire role and is remote, with MST preferred for work hours.
