About The Position

The Senior Oracle Developer will work with other product developers to create high-quality Oracle applications and solutions that meet customer requirements. The role contributes to company projects and offers opportunities to grow through collaboration and application development. The developer will design, develop, maintain, test, and optimize Oracle databases, applications, and systems. The position also involves troubleshooting technical issues, supporting data security and quality assurance, and keeping current with emerging Oracle database development technologies.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in Oracle development or software development roles.
Demonstrable experience with manual and automated Oracle database development.
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
Quick problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Ideate, design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases, applications, and systems.
Collaborate with the team to create high-quality Oracle software products.
Test Oracle applications and solutions to ensure they meet quality standards.
Monitor and optimize database performance.
Identify and report software defects and work with the development team to resolve them promptly.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle databases and applications.
Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to support client application development.
Develop and maintain frameworks for consistent and reliable testing of Oracle products.
Conduct manual, automated, and exploratory testing to uncover defects, bottlenecks, and other issues.
Implement database security policies and procedures to protect data confidentiality and integrity.
Participate in code reviews and quality assurance procedures.
Provide technical expertise to business users of the application.
Stay up to date with new and emerging technologies in Oracle database development.
