About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Business Analyst to join our team as a Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Oracle Manufacturing and Supply Chain modules. This role will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders in Operations/Manufacturing and the IT team, driving requirements definition, process optimization, and system configuration. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Oracle ERP systems—particularly within Discrete Manufacturing —and play a key role in improving operational efficiency, streamlining shop floor processes, and ensuring seamless integration across Inventory, WIP, and Costing modules.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant or Business Analyst.
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12).
  • Strong experience in Oracle Discrete Manufacturing modules: Inventory (INV), Bill of Materials (BOM), Work in Process (WIP), Costing.
  • Understanding of end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • Proven experience in at least two full-cycle Oracle ERP implementations.
  • Ability to write and interpret SQL queries.
  • Understanding of Oracle data models and key tables.
  • Familiarity with background workflows and concurrent programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

  • Exposure to rollout, upgrade, or support projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and support Inventory Management (INV) functionalities including Item Master, Sub-inventories, locators, lot/serial control, replenishment strategies, cycle counting, and physical inventory processes.
  • Define and maintain Bills of Material (BOM), including product structures, multi-level BOMs, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and alternate/common BOMs, collaborating with engineering and production teams.
  • Design and configure Routings & Work in Process (WIP) processes, including standard operations, resource/department setups, discrete job creation/scheduling, shop floor transactions, job closures, and variance analysis.
  • Conduct AS-IS and TO-BE process analysis to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities, recommending best practices aligned with Oracle standards.
  • Lead workshops with stakeholders to gather and document Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirements Documents (FRD).
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications.
  • Perform hands-on configuration of Oracle Inventory (INV), Bill of Materials (BOM), Work in Process (WIP), and Costing modules.
  • Ensure alignment of configurations with business requirements and best practices.
  • Prepare MD50 functional design documents for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).
  • Collaborate with technical teams for RICEFW development and deployment.
  • Develop test plans, scenarios, and test scripts (TE40).
  • Lead System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring data accuracy, process validation, and issue resolution.
  • Provide post-go-live support and stabilization, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate fixes.
  • Support period-end close activities for Inventory, WIP, and Costing modules.
  • Train and guide end users.
