About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Lead Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic team in Everett, Seattle or Tukwila, Washington, Berkeley, Missouri or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is a rewarding, yet challenging leadership role that will report directly to the Senior Director of Supply Chain for Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers. In this role, you will leverage your strengths to assist the team in effective communication, strategy and execution in support of the Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers business. Daily interfaces within BDS and across the enterprise are required to execute standard activities which include strategy sessions, analysis of data and trends, supplier performance reviews to include delivery and quality. Ad hoc reporting and special projects will be part of the job role. The role requires a high level of organization, self-starting motivation, and relationship management.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • More than 5 years of experience performing data analysis and/or reporting within Boeing systems and tools
  • More than 3 years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion
  • More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (for Senior Level 4)
  • More than 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (for Lead Level 5)
  • Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Leads development of processes and tools to measure key performance indicators
  • Develops and maintains standard supplier contractual terms, conditions and special clauses and agreements
  • Analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance indicators
  • Communicates strategic initiatives, projects or procurement activities
  • Leads cross-functional process management activities
  • Leads self-assessment and audit teams to identify and implement corrective action
  • Lead efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues to high-risk programs
  • Leads and oversees the development and deployment of process management plans and activities
  • Establishes strategy for new processes and tools related to the design, planning and deployment of enterprise-wide projects/programs
  • Reviews contractual documents and consults with stakeholders
  • Oversees efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues related to processes, programs, projects and procurement transactions
  • Provides guidance on export issues and material transfers
  • Leads and oversees procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis
