About The Position

The Colorado Rockies Baseball Club is seeking a senior-level analyst to join Baseball Analytics, focusing on developing and deploying predictive models and forecasts. The role combines technical rigor, baseball curiosity, and clear communication to support better organizational decisions. The position may be filled at either the Senior Analyst or Lead Analyst level, depending on the selected candidate’s experience, demonstrated ownership, and expected scope of responsibility. The analyst will turn baseball questions into rigorous analysis, deployed predictive models, durable forecasting tools, and clear recommendations for Baseball Operations staff. The employee will learn the Rockies’ data, models, systems, and workflows, while helping translate individual projects into repeatable systems and operational infrastructure. At the Lead Analyst level, the role also includes coordinating forecasting research, organizing research discussions, reviewing colleagues’ code, mentoring junior staff, and taking independent ownership of broader forecasting work. The position is based onsite at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado, with occasional travel to Spring Training, minor league affiliate locations, training complexes, and other organizational sites. The Club offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, subject to eligibility requirements and official plan terms.
