About The Position

Responsible for performing a variety of duties to receive, distribute, assemble, and store incoming materials, products, supplies and equipment into storage or user departments. Accountable for pulling and preparing orders for shipment. Under general direction/supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position Assists in the delivery of materials to assigned locations, including warehouse facilities and company establishments. Demonstrates Johnson & Johnson's Leadership Imperatives and Credo. Drive box truck from Bridgewater to Raynham and other locations as needed. Loads and unloads delivery trucks. Powered industrial vehicle (PIV) training and certification. Organizes incoming products for verification against shipping documentation. Assists with check in of delivered items as necessary. Uncrates and assembles materials as directed and removes and disposes of unneeded packing materials. Assigns storage areas to items not already allocated space. Records location information in appropriate log. Prepares crates and other items to be shipped. Instructs personnel on crate and packaging assembly. Inspects assembled packaging for defects or damages. Reviews orders and pulls items needed to fill each order and stages them to be packed. Summarizes all lists of products not available to complete orders and advises supervisor. Moves incoming merchandise to appropriate storage area and ensures proper labeling. Determines need to reallocate space and rearranges other products, if necessary, to accommodate received items. Leads inventory audits. Compiles and submits audit data to supervisor. Completes general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, disposing of garbage and other related tasks. Prepares and submits cleaning equipment and supply requests. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level. For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures. Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 4-6 Years Work Experience.
  • Ability to learn and adhere to specific procedures according to the department training plan.
  • Valid driver's license
