About The Position

This role involves overseeing the operations activities of the Scrubber and Coal Handling areas at Craig Station. The Senior Operations Supervisor will champion safety principles, manage budgets, coordinate training, and ensure compliance with various policies and regulations. The position requires continuous service obligations to customers, including the ability to work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Ownership of Krause Bell principles and concepts.
• Ability to supervise and direct Operation Supervisors.
• Experience in preparing, administering, and monitoring capital and operations budgets.
• Experience in coordinating and implementing employee safety, training, and appraisal programs.
• Experience in coordinating scrubber operations, baghouse operations, and ash handling activities.
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor functional area goals.
• Experience coordinating and resolving concerns with external contacts.
• Knowledge of compliance with safety, contractual, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience preparing reports on equipment status and events.
• Ability to coordinate Lime and Limestone delivery.
• Experience with EOM Scrubber availability reporting.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable performance of essential functions and responsibilities.
• Ability to work overtime at any time of the day or week.

Responsibilities

• Champion the change to adopt and apply Krause Bell principles by ensuring Operation Supervisors understand and are applying the concepts in day-to-day operations.
• Supervise and direct Operation Supervisors and oversee the operations activities of Scrubber and Coal Handling area activities at Craig Station.
• Assist with preparing, administering and monitoring functional area capital and operations budgets and long-range plans for scrubbers and baghouses.
• Coordinate and implement employee safety, training and appraisal programs.
• Coordinate scrubber operations, baghouse operations, and ash handling activities with plant operations, maintenance and others, as required.
• Develop, implement and monitor functional area goals.
• Coordinate and resolve concerns with external contacts such as vendors, consultants and other business contacts and companies.
• Monitor and ensure compliance of scrubbers and Coal Handling baghouses, and ash handling areas with safety, contractual, environmental and other company policies, programs and procedures and governmental regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports on status of equipment and events, including Ash haul summary and budget, coordinate Lime and Limestone delivery, EOM Scrubber availability reporting.
