If you are an experienced, motivated and team-oriented individual, consider this exciting opportunity to join OCWA’s management team to lead and manage water and wastewater capital infrastructure projects that will support the provision of drinking water and wastewater treatment to various municipalities located within the Kawartha Trent Region. In this role you will: Plan, lead and manage the delivery of capital infrastructure projects for the water and wastewater clients of the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) in a defined geographic region in order to support effective operational effectiveness, efficiency, safety, and optimum asset management. Supervise and manage capital programs in collaboration with our operations teams. Provide management and administration of construction projects to ensure successful implementation. Travel within the region to the various facilities, attend site and client meetings as required. Provide input and support to the engineering and design of plant expansions, including working with contractors and engineering consultants. Ensure compliance with existing legislation and management systems. Lead/provide strategic/technical expertise, advice and policy recommendations to regional/OCWA management and regional clients/partners on preventative maintenance strategies and technical solutions to support client operations and OCWA business development objectives. Support asset management by ensuring updates to WMS for all new and decommissioned equipment related to capital projects. Update and manage OCWA’s regional Maximo Database, including the asset registry, preventative maintenance program and overall application improvements with a focus on overall continuous improvement of the Program. Facilitate workshops and provide training to local operations staff on capital delivery and project management practices.
