About The Position

This position is for the 3rd shift (Monday - Friday, with occasional Saturdays, Sundays rare and on an as-needed basis) and hours are from 8:30 PM until end of shift (flex as needed). This role is eligible for overtime pay and is paid weekly. The Senior Operations Administrator will perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, document and calculate results accurately, and take corrective action when necessary. They will ensure personal and food safety, including record-keeping, reviewing pre-op paperwork, and supporting HACCP, SQF, and other food safety protocols. This role also supports the calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by gathering and entering data, and creating and maintaining Performance Boards. Additionally, they will take inventories, monitor inspection lots, and support employees and supervisors in the system. The position involves providing and monitoring operations workflow through the design of workflows and procedures, and acting as a liaison between plant leadership and the workforce to communicate processes, programs, problem-solving, and operational results. The successful candidate must understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, and work rules, and work as a team to cover vacations.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree preferred.
  • 2 plus years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong organization, verbal, and written skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, Access, and Word systems.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Ability to gather and analyze information quickly and determine skillfully, with the ability to develop alternative solutions.
  • Must be able to and willing to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able and willing to work in wet conditions and cold temperatures at approximately 35 degrees.
  • Must be able and willing to withstand a loud noise–work environment.
  • Must be able and willing to perform any other work as assigned by management.
