About The Position

This posting represents a 0.01 FTE, Full Time, Day position (Variable days, evenings 8, 10, 12 hr shifts) with no more than 40 hours a week. The Senior Operating Room Assistant (OR Core Tech or Set-Up Technician) retrieves and assembles (picks) all necessary supplies and equipment for each surgery procedure. They monitor instrument and supply levels in the sterile supply areas, coordinate the location of supplies in the sterile supply area, and collaborate with materials management to address shortages. This role also involves assisting in cleaning and preparing operating rooms, safely transporting patients, retrieving and decontaminating instrumentation, delivering equipment, processing and maintaining equipment and instruments, and may assist with opening supplies before surgery. Requirements

Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
2 years of experience in the Operating Room

Responsibilities
